Photobucket anyone?

Someone just told me about this wonderful site where you can make photo albums and make and post. So I did it! You can see some great pictures of my new grandson there. I wish I could figure out how to get them all right here on this blog and how to put music with it. Any pointers?

Ryder William Winegar is finally here!

On Tuesday morning, April 14, we got a surprise phone call telling us that Ashley was going into the hospital to have the baby. She had gone into labor at two in the morning and had let Chase sleep until early in the morning. He wanted to take her right to the hospital but she wouldn't go without the doctor saying she was ready. She was not going to be sent home because she wasn't in true labor.

When she got to the doctor and they checked her, they sent her up to check in right away. After 14 hours of labor, 2 hours of which were long and strenuous, Ryder was born at 6:49 p.m. It got tense a couple of times because he kept flipping over. Ashley's doctor gave her the option of having a c-section. She refused! What a trooper.

We are the luckiest people ever. We have a beautiful family and an amazing new grandson. How blessed are we?

The coolest thing ever!

I just found the coolest thing ever in a technology class that I am taking. You can create your own website for free! The kicker is that you have to have a gmail account in order to get a Google site. Not so bad. If your interested, go to Google and then gmail. Set up your account. Once you have done that, create yourself a site! Have fun!

just getting started

The Griffiths' are new to this blogging thing. It is pretty cool because our family can all keep track of us. This saves time because now I don't have to create or send lots of emails or letters. (Not that I did anyway!)

We are very excited about the prospects of our first grandbaby. We will be getting a baby boy around the first of April. Could anyone be more proud than we are right now? I think not! I just want the little guy to be here so that I can hold him and snuggle with him. I'm afraid we won't get much time. Too many people to share him with. His parents are so excited that we may never get opportunities to hold him. I can't wait to see the love in that family. It is fun right now to watch Chase and Ash interact with one another and see the love that they have for each other. I can only imagine what we will witness when there is a little baby in their home.
